There is nothing I desire more than meeting Jesus face to face. For me Philippians 1 and Philippians 3 say it best,
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. ~ Philippians 1:21, NIV.
All I want is to know Christ and to experience the power of His resurrection, to share in His sufferings and become like Him in his death… ~ Philippians 3:10, GNT.
To stay here is to glorify God, and give witness to the saving grace and healing power of Jesus Christ. To die is far better, because then I would be where I most desire to be: in the presence of Jesus, meeting Him face to face.
There is nothing better!
I had to read this a few times as I feel that you have put so much of yourself into it. The honesty is so admirable and inspiring. You have shared what you went through so honestly and I just wanted to give you a warm hug to let you know that somehow I understood and felt your pain. I am super proud of how far you have come, and am touched by what God has done and is continuing to do in your life!
Be blessed and never let these past events hold you back. Sarah Abigail Kuriakos has been set free and soars on the wings of angels and stands in the presence of the King of kings.

Thank you, Helen! It’s interesting that you should say that, because I wrote that as a prelude to writing a longer post on the same topic. In fact, I’m working on it as we speak. I greatly appreciate what you said, however, and I’m grateful for your encouragement. Part of the reason I wrote this post here is because I’m trying to replace another post that somehow got repeated three times (that’s right, three times, Arrgh!!), and I forgot to change the Categories before I Updated/Published. OOPS!! So the Categories that you saw when you read it look like I’m writing about my childhood, when I’m really not. When I re-update, the post will be longer, and the Categories will be different.
I don’t know if you understood any of what I just said. I’m not sure if I understood any of what I just said!!
